FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions:
-
What are Forever Stamps?
Forever stamps are a type of postage stamp that can be used to mail a one-ounce letter to any address in the United States, regardless of the current price of postage. They are called Forever stamps because they never expire or lose value, even if the postage rates change over time.
-
Are these stamps authentic USPS postage stamps?
Yes. The postage is authentic, issued by the USPS. We test all of our postage to ensure its authenticity, and we offer a money-back guarantee. Any fraudulent or counterfeit items we receive are reported to the United States Postal Inspectors Office. Over the years, we have assisted law enforcement in multiple counterfeit postage cases and have direct contact with a specialized inspector agent.
-
Why do you offer postage stamps for less than the post office?
We legally acquire these postage stamps from a variety of sources, including surplus business mailings, company liquidations, and private collections. Our entire acquisition process and all transactions are in full compliance with the laws of the United States.
-
Is it legal to buy postage for less than its face value?
Yes. There are no laws or regulations prohibiting the buying and selling of second-hand postage for less than face value. Just ask a stamp collector.
-
Are these current First-Class postage stamps or just for collecting?
Yes, these are Forever Stamps, they will always be equivalent to the current value of a one-ounce, first-class letter in the United States. You can use them to mail a standard letter, apply their value toward the total postage of any USPS shipment, or keep them as a collectible.
-
How to spot a counterfeit stamp?
Genuine Forever stamps are printed with a special ink that glows under ultraviolet (UV) light, a security feature that is difficult to replicate. Counterfeit stamps lack this ink and will not fluoresce when exposed to a UV light source. Use a shortwave UV light (254nm) or a dual-wavelength UV light (254nm + 365nm) to check for authenticity. Genuine stamps have a distinct fluorescent reaction that counterfeit stamps lack.
